BHEL, the public sector undertaking of India, which has net turnover of Rs. 27,850 crores earned from footprints in more than 82 countries during 2017-18 has invited application for Executive Trainee (HR), Engineer Trainee (Mechanical or Electrical or Civil or Chemical), and Executive Trainee (Finance). Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), that provides the services for core sectors such as power, transmission, industry, defence, petrochemicals, steel, fertilizers, and cement has announced 145 vacancies in total. BHEL has 4 power sector regional centres, 8 service centers, and 17 manufacturing plants along with several regional offices and project sites spread all across India. Aspiring engineers will have to sit in a computer based examination to join BHEL as engineer/executive trainee. Based on the examination requirements and marks, candidates will be shortlisted for interview by merit in the ratio 1:7 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and category. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of 75% weightage to the examination score and 25% weightage for interview.
