Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) released its prospectus and registration window for JIPMER MBBS. The undergraduate notification has been released officially on the website jipmer.edu.in. The entrance test will be held online in two shifts in morning and evening shifts on June 2. The online registration for the MBBS programme will continue till April 12, 2019.    

Aspiring candidates should be of 17 years till admission or should have completed the provided age limit till 31st December 2019. Their birth should be on or before 01-01-2003. The applicant should be an Indian national/Overseas Citizen of India. There is no upper age limit for any applicant.

Following qualifying exams should have been passed by the applicant in the manner mentioned below:  

• Should have completed class 12 after a period of 12 years of study with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) with English according to 10+2+3 educational structure.   

• The candidates who have passed an exam other than the ones mentioned in Annexure-1, will have to submit an eligibility certificate before admission. An eligibility certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi is important for a OCI/NRI candidate for admission in the MBBS course.    

The applicant must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology individually. For UR/EWSs category candidates should have obtained 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology.
