The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta launched programme in Financial Blockchain and in FinTech(Financial Technology).
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta launched programme in Financial Blockchain and in FinTech(Financial Technology). The programme will include financial technology’s impact on banking and other domains of financial ecosystem. In addition to this, the course will teach how FinTech can be used to conceptualize and design new strategies. The programme will begin in May 2019 and will be offered in association with TalentSprint.
The programme will be delivered through online visits to the IIM-Calcutta Campus in a hybrid executive format via the TalentSprint digital platform. TalentSprint will also provide state-of-the-art projects for participants of the project.
One of the programme directors, Indranil Bose said, “A vast majority of firms in the banking and financial sector believe that the lack of adequate FinTech talent is an existential threat to their future. We plan to equip and enable 2000 FinTech professionals in the next few years.”
Working executives which are graduates or postgraduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and at least two years of work after graduation are eligible for this programme.
