Multiple Applications for JEE Main Second Exam will be Annulled, Says NTA

In a notice published on the JEE Main website, NTA has told that multiple applications by one candidate will result in rejection.

In a notice published on the JEE Main website, National Testing Agency (NTA) has told that multiple applications by one candidate will result in rejection of the application. The notice read, “only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.” Hence, students should fill the application only once.

The official notice also tells that such multiple applications will be rejected without intimation. If a student doesn’t get a confirmation page even after submitting fee, that means their fee payment was not processed properly. Such students should wait and should not try to pay the fee again.

JEE is conducted by NTA this year and students will get two opportunities to appear in this national engineering exam. The first JEE main exam was conducted this year in January and results have also been declared. The second 2019 JEE Main will be held in April. Last date to apply for JEE Main April 2019 exam is March 8, 2019.

A total of 9,29,198 students had registered for paper I in the previous JEE main exam (which is conducted for admissions in BE/B.Tech. programmes for IITs) and 8,74,469 appeared in the exam. 15 students topped the exam with 100 NTA score.
