The admit card for Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 has been released by Union Public Civil Services Commission (UPSC). It can be now downloaded from the official website of commission. The aforementioned exam will be held on January 19, 2020.
Candidates can use their roll number or registration number to download their admit card. If there is a repetitive downloading and candidate is blocked somehow, he or she should contact UPSC administrator through e-mail (web-upsc@nic.in).
Candidates should mention their roll number, name, registration ID, and year of examination while corresponding with UPSC. He or she should then check the admit card for details mentioned and contact the UPSC administrator in case of any discrepancy.
Candidates who do not possess a clear photograph on the e-admit card should bring a photo identity proof like driving license, Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID card etc and two passport size photographs, one for each session. Along with this, an undertaking to appear in the examination should also be brought.
The preliminary exam will be a computer-based test. The exams will be conducted for three streams separately namely Geologist and Junior Hydrogeologist, Geophysicist, and Chemist. Each stream will include a general studies and a stream specific paper.
