The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) released class X results on Tuesday at 3pm on cisce.org and results.cisce.org. From the 1.76 lakh students, 98.54 percent cleared it.
The western region topped the Class 10 ICSE exams with 99.76 percent followed by the eastern region with a pass percentage of 99.73 percent, and then with northern region with a pass percentage of 97.87 percent. Girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 98.95 percent over 98.15 percent.
The ICSE class 10 examinations were held from 22 to 25 February. The ICSE exams were conducted in 60 subjects, from which 22 are Indian languages, 10 are foreign and 2 are classical languages.
Over 1.8 lakh students had appeared for ICSE class 10 exam in 2018 and the pass percentage had stood at 98.51 percent. For rechecking of papers, candidates can directly apply at CISCE website. However, the online module for submitting the request will be available only till 13 May.
