The admit cards for National Eligibility Test(NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) on May 5 will be available today at ntaneet.nic.in. Earlier, CBSE conducted NEET on the behalf of Medical Council of India(MCI) but now newly formed NTA conducts the national exam. A candidate appearing for this exam can only carry admit card with a passport size photograph on it. One more passport size photograph will be fixed on attendance sheet also.
The admit card should bear candidate’s father’s name, sub-category, photograph, signature, language of question paper, date of birth, language of question paper, and address of examination centre wrote on the hall ticket. Candidates should get in touch with NTA if any of the above mentioned information is incorrect or missing.
As a candidate downloads the admit card, a copy of it in PDF format will also be emailed to them on their email ID. No other communication regarding the admit card will be send by NTA. Therefore, downloading the admit card is the only way to enter the medical entrance exam. The aspirants have to reach the examination centre at 1:30 pm or before that since the three-hour examination will begin at 2 pm.
The candidate should perform recce of the centre where exam will be held to avoid the possibility of being late for the exam. Candidates who plan to wear ‘cultural/ customary dress at the examination centre, should report at least an hour before the last reporting time i.e.12.30 noon’, told the official notification.
