Research Publications are extremely important because reflects the academic standard of institutes in a nation. University Grants Commission(UGC) approved a list of journals to strengthen research in India.
In a Public Notice dated 28th November 2018, the apex body of universities decided to establish a Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics (CARE). The good quality journals in disciplines such as Humanities, Culture, Arts, Indian Knowledge Systems will be maintained by CARE and referred to as ‘CARE Reference List of Quality Journals’.
These journals will be helpful for all kinds of academic purposes, will be regularly upgraded, and will be published by members of CARE and UGC. The body has also constituted a committee under the Chairmanship of Prof B. Balram, to review the regulations for existing M.Phil/Ph.D.
